Sprocket alignment key for 7400 series conveyors

A new sprocket alignment key has made for much easier reassembling of Dorner's 7400 series of mainline sanitary plastic-chain conveyor after the conveyor is cleaned. This allows the 7400 series of conveyors to be completely disassembled without tools, thoroughly cleaned and then put back into operation within minutes. The sprocket alignment key contains special grooves that mesh with the sprockets that hold them in place. This assures that the conveyor's modular plastic belt is properly aligned on the spindle when being reassembled. The S-shaped key enables all of the sprockets to be perfectly aligned in relation to each other and then slid onto the spindle at the same time. The sprocket alignment key also automatically compensates for thermal expansion in hot and cold applications.
