Old Dominion Freight Line Named to SupplyChainBrain's 100 Great Supply Chain Partners List

August 5, 2019
No Comments

Old Dominion Freight Line was named to the 2019 SupplyChainBrain 100 Great Supply Chain Partners list. This list recognizes logistics companies for making a significant impact on the supply chain performance of partner companies.
SupplyChainBrain compiled the 100 Great Supply Chain Partners list after a six-month online poll of supply chain professionals, asking them to nominate vendors and service providers whose solutions have made a significant impact on their company's efficiency, customer service and overall supply chain performance.
Old Dominion's impressive supply chain performance is due to the Company's technology offering that uses business intelligence tools to identify shipping trends which are then communicated with the customer. These tools help eliminate cost, decrease transit times and the pickup and delivery process, reduce claims, and improve the visibility of freight. In the end, these improvements save money for the customer and advance Old Dominion's overall supply chain performance.
"This award recognizes companies that maintain great partner relationships by improving the overall shipping process," said Greg Gantt, president and CEO of Old Dominion Freight Line. "We value an open line of communication with customers, relaying critical feedback in real-time to focus on the best possible solution for our customers. We are excited to be recognized in this way by our customers for our supply chain process."
"For seventeen years running, SupplyChainBrain has published our much-anticipated list of 100 Great Supply Chain Partners — a select group of companies whose customers recognize them for providing outstanding solutions and services," said Brad Berger, publisher of SupplyChainBrain. "This year's field of nominees was competitive and inspiring - coming from all sectors of supply chain management."
This year's field of nominees came from all sectors of supply chain management, and SupplyChainBrain has maintained this award for 17 consecutive years.
Old Dominion was also named to SupplyChainBrain's 100 Great Supply Chain Partners list in 2015 and 2016.
