Safety Innovator of the Year Award to be Presented to The Home Depot

Knoxville, Tenn. - August 23, 2018 - Adrian's Safety Solutions will present the Safety Innovator of the Year Award to The Home Depot at the Georgia Safety, Health and Environmental Conference, September 5-7. The award recognizes companies with innovation in safety practice and culture and is the pinnacle honor of the annual Awards of Excellence in Safety.

"Safety is the foundation of Adrian's Safety Solutions, and I am proud to present this award to The Home Depot," said Steve Dew, President of Adrian's Safety Solutions. "It is inspiring to see their unique approach to cultivating safety in the workplace through innovative solutions, and I commend them for their excellence in keeping both staff and customers safe at more than 2,200 stores."

Dew explains that honoring companies of distinction with a safety award aligns with one of the missions of Adrian's Safety Solutions: to make the workplace safer by offering affordable and easy-to-use safety solutions.

"The Home Depot has demonstrated superior commitment to finding ways to make workplace safety a forefront topic," said Dew.

According to Dew, the core of Adrian's Safety Solutions business is to work with organizations that focus on safety and finding simple solutions to complex and dynamic problems. "We enjoy working with clients like The Home Depot because they continue to push us to think outside the box when it comes to safety products and how innovation can be key to keeping facilities safe," said Dew.

Chris Courtney, The Home Depot's Senior Manager of Safety Operations, expressed the company's gratitude for its recognition as Safety Innovator of the Year. "At The Home Depot, we take pride in working with agile suppliers, like Adrian's, that continually demonstrate how their creativity can coexist with our entrepreneurial spirit. This relationship results in products and processes that provide a safer working environment for our associates and shopping environment for our customers."

Each year Adrian's Safety Solutions presents Awards of Excellence in Safety for each type of safety solutions vertical market. Other award recipients include Dealer of the Year Award - SJF Material Handling Inc., Fleet Safety Passenger Vehicle Award - Bayer Corporation, and Fleet Safety Freight Award - Raymour & Flanigan.

The Safety Innovator of the Year Award will be on display at Adrian's Safety Solutions booth #34 during the Georgia Safety, Health and Environmental Conference in Savannah, Georgia. Safety professionals and other staff from The Home Depot will be present at Adrian's Safety Solutions booth during the course of this show. Adrian's invites you to stop by the booth and congratulate them on this significant honor.
