SEVILLE, Ohio (May 10, 2018) - V3 Transportation, a leading innovator in expedited transportation solutions, is pleased to announce that the company recently opened an office in the Chicago metropolitan area this spring. Launching the operation in early May, the Chicago office of V3 is now staffed by transportation professionals with expertise in customer service, fleet operations management and sales as the company continues to expand its strong presence in the Midwest.

"Over the past two years, V3 has experienced significant growth in demand from customers with inbound and outbound Chicago logistics requirements. Chicago is one of the most important freight hubs in the Midwest and in the nation," said Bob Poulos, CEO of V3 Transportation. "The addition of this new office will allow us to best provide the services customers have come to expect from V3. By establishing an office in Chicago, we will be perfectly positioned to quickly respond to our customers and support our fleet operations."

The V3 Chicago operation is located in the suburb of Itasca, which has a close proximity to O'Hare International Airport, the area's major expressways and key rail lines. V3 has selected Pat Walsh to lead the company's Chicago office. Walsh, who has more than 25 years of experience in ground expedited transportation, is V3's Vice President of Sales for the Central States. V3 has named Tim Cashman to serve as the Operations Manager for the Chicago location. Cashman brings over 20 years of premium transportation experience to his new position.

"Pat and Tim will provide the kind of comprehensive expertise the Chicago expedited market demands," said John Sliter, President of V3. "We are confident that our customers will benefit from working with our team on the ground in Chicago. Most importantly, we are looking forward to bringing job opportunities to Chicago and we are looking forward to being part of a great city as we continue to grow our business."

"We have assembled a great team that will allow us to closely interact with our Chicago customer base. We will also be able to more effectively offer V3's range of services to new customers within one of the nation's leading expedited markets," said Walsh.

Named in 2017 to the Inc. 5,000 Fastest Growing Company List, V3 has identified a number of key service markets and locations as areas for potential expansion. V3's Chicago office, according to company officials, is part of an overall long-term growth plan.

"Chicago is a key market for expedited transportation for a variety of reasons, and I'm thrilled to see V3 announce the type of operation that the company will be establishing in Chicago," said expedited transportation pioneer Craig Amato, who serves V3 as a senior advisor and investor. "We believe that our Chicago operation will serve as a potential blueprint for our strategic growth plans in additional markets going forward."
