RALEIGH, N.C. (May 1, 2018) - Open Sky Group, a global specialist in JDA Software solutions, announced its clients Clemens Food Group, Matson Logistics and Toyota Tsusho America will present the elements of success for JDA Warehouse Management software upgrades. All three companies have upgraded their JDA Warehouse Management software within the past year with Open Sky Group and will be sharing their experience during JDA's annual customer conference, JDA FOCUS 2018, in Orlando, May 6 - 9. The upgrade projects feature Open Sky Group's rapid implementation methodology for quicker installation, reduced modifications and faster return on investment.

"Clemens Food Group has seen a 30 percent reduction in maintenance costs alone by upgrading our JDA Warehouse Management software with Open Sky Group," says Stu Farber, VP of IT for Clemens Food Group. "Their dedication and coaching are empowering us to handle our own future upgrades and that brings even further cost-savings to our company."

Open Sky Group's disciplined agility approach to software implementations ensure a better fit, fewer modifications, smoother implementations and a faster ROI. "On average, our clients who are upgrading to newer versions of JDA software are reducing their modifications by 80 - 90 percent and upgrading at 25 percent of the original implementation costs," said Open Sky Group COO, Chad Kramlich. "Not only are we thrilled to help clients achieve these results, we're honored that three of them will share their success stories at the JDA customer conference."

Open Sky Group's Curt Sardeson and Chad Kramlich will join Stu Farber from Clemens Food Group, Siva Raja from Matson Logistics and Janet Bays from Toyota Tsusho America on Monday, May 7th from 1: 30 - 2: 30 pm EST. Australian supermarket chain rolls out AI-powered grocery carts

The secret to this express shopping experience is the “Caper Cart,” an AI (artificial intelligence)-powered smart trolley from San Francisco-based Instacart. In its first deployment in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, the system is being tested by Coles Supermarkets, a food and beverage retailer with more than 1,800 grocery and liquor stores throughout the country.

How green is your glue?

If you’re looking to make the packaging process more eco-friendly, the obvious place to start is with the box itself.
