WOW Logistics™ Named Agropur's Supplier of the Year

Neenah, Wis. March 26, 2018 - On Wednesday, March 21, WOW Logistics accepted the Supplier of the Year Award from the international dairy cooperative, Agropur, at their supplier awards banquet in Montréal, Canada. In addition to the Supplier of the Year award, WOW Logistics also won the award for quality and service.

Each year, Agropur recognizes their most valued suppliers at the annual Supplier Awards ceremony. Recognized are four project-related winners, two performance-related, and one overall winner named the Supplier of the Year.

"Having an industry-leading company like Agropur publically recognize WOW Logistics as a strategic business partner is truly an incredible honor," said President and CEO of WOW Logistics, Howard Kamerer. "I believe this award is a testament to the way we do business. We listen to the problems that our customers are facing and develop unique solutions to streamline their supply chain." Kamerer added, "Having a true understanding of a customer's challenges is the key to providing great customer service."

WOW Logistics began its partnership with Agropur in 2001 by providing plant and customer support to Agropur's Jerome Cheese plant. Since then, WOW has designed and built nearly 700,000 SF of space for Agropur and collaborated on numerous contract operations and managed warehouse service engagements. Additionally, WOW Logistics improved Agopur's cash flow by purchasing inventory on behalf of some of Agropur's customers through the WOW COMMODITY PURCHASE PROGRAM™.

"We are currently retrofitting a facility in Grand Chute, WI, which will support distribution for two Wisconsin-based Agropur plants," said Jamie Wally, Vice President of Sales at WOW Logistics Company™. "The new distribution center is set to open in June 2018, and we are looking forward to continuing our work with Agropur for years to come."

In its first deployment in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, the system is being tested by Coles Supermarkets, a food and beverage retailer with more than 1,800 grocery and liquor stores throughout the country.
