NFI Named EPA SmartWay High Performer

NFI, one of North America's largest supply chain solutions providers, has been named an EPA SmartWay High Performer.

NFI, one of North America's largest supply chain solutions providers, has been named an EPA SmartWay High Performer. The list identifies shippers, truck carriers, and logistics service providers that have achieved high efficiency and air quality performance. The EPA evaluates partners based on annual emissions and their ability to address the challenges of sustainable goods movement.
NFI applies sustainability best practices across its North American dedicated fleet of more than 2,400 tractors and 8,300 trailers. NFI's dedicated transportation solutions span multiple categories including dry van, refrigerated, tanker, and flatbed.

"Being named a SmartWay High Performer is a great honor as only two percent of all SmartWay carriers operate fleets clean and efficient enough to be named to the list," said Bill Bliem, NFI's Senior Vice President of Fleet Services. "At NFI we prioritize being an industry leader in sustainability and delivering green solutions for our customers across a variety of industries."

NFI continually identifies additional sustainability opportunities in transportation and its entire suite of supply chain solutions that includes warehousing, commercial real estate, and global logistics. As a comprehensive supply chain services provider, sustainable opportunities are evaluated during the solution engineering process. Understanding that capabilities are always evolving, NFI consistently assesses new practices and sustainable technologies to reduce emissions and increase miles per gallon.
