Karen M. Kenney named president of Janel Group Inc.

Thirty-year industry veteran to lead the next best-in-class global logistics services provider.

Ms. Kenney joined Janel through the company's 2015 acquisition of New England-based forwarder Liberty International, Inc., where she rose to COO over a thirty-year career focused on customer service and development of innovative supply chain solutions tailored to customer needs.

In addition to successfully leading the integration of Liberty into Janel Group, Ms. Kenney served the combined company's senior management team as Vice President of Global Partnerships, in which capacity she has executed the group's strategy to build a world-class network of overseas partners.

Ms. Kenney is a well-known and active presence in the U.S. trade community at both regional and national levels. She is a founding member and Chair of the Coalition of New England Companies for Trade (CONECT) and has served two terms as an advisor to U.S. Customs and Border Protection on its national Commercial Operations Advisory Committee (COAC).

Ms. Kenney takes over from Brendan J. Killackey, who will continue to support Janel Group's growth as CEO of its parent holding company.
