Norwalk, CT, May 2, 2017 - Executives Dale Holden and Chad Borne have expanded their roles at LogicSource®, the innovative sourcing and procurement leader, it was announced today by Sam Vail, Managing Partner and Chief Client Officer, LogicSource®. Holden and Borne have been appointed to lead the firm's Restaurant and Retail Store Development industry vertical to address the ever complex sourcing and procurement challenges in restaurant and retail store construction.

"Retailers and restaurant operators have one thing in common - they want to provide the best brand and guest experience with the most cost effective materials, services and buying process to build their stores and restaurants. New brand designs and innovative building layouts are driving significant growth in store development sourcing and procurement," said Vail.

According to a recent report from Fung Global Retail & Technology (https://goo.gl/ufHDoI), retailers have announced more than 2,500 major US store openings this year - a 19% increase compared to last year. Additionally, IBIS World (www.ibisworld.com) projects restaurant industry revenues will grow at an annualized rate of 2.0% to $118.6 billion over the next five years.

Added Vail, "We are excited to have both Dale and Chad lead this major strategic market initiative for us and to be able to leverage their extensive industry and category management experience."

With over 35 years in food, packaging and equipment sourcing and procurement, Holden will now serve as Senior Vice President and will lead the client relationship management and manage business for this strategic LogicSource® vertical market. Previously, Holden was Senior Vice President of Equipment Sales for Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions, LLC - A Yum! Brands Co-op, the exclusive supply chain management organization for Yum! Brands, Inc. and its three restaurant systems — KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell. There, he directed business growth of this captive equipment distributor supporting the Yum! Brands and its franchisees. He began working for organization in 1993 as a Vice President of Sales for the KFC Co-op and has also served as General Manager for UFPC's Taco Bell Concept where he began leading all UFPC distribution and equipment sales. Holden started his career at McLane Company, Inc., one of the largest supply chain services leaders, providing grocery and foodservice supply chain solutions for convenience stores, mass merchants, drug stores and chain restaurants in the US, where he served as Vice President of Foodservice National Accounts. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Education from the University of Texas at Tyler.

Chad Borne will be teamed with Holden as the Vice President, Operations - Restaurant and Retail Store Development. In this capacity, he will lead the coordination and operations of the LogicSource® supply chain function. Prior, Borne was the Senior Director of Supply Chain for Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions, LLC - A Yum! Brands Co-op where he managed all business strategies and operational activities for the Restaurant Sales and Services division. He joined the company as the Director of Finance.
