FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
May 1, 2017

HILLIARD, Ohio (May 1, 2017) — VARGO®, a leading provider of material-handling system integration, warehouse execution software and equipment solutions for major fulfillment and distribution centers, has hired David Dickens as a network systems administrator.

Dickens, who works out of VARGO®'s headquarters in Hilliard, Ohio, was hired to maintain and support VARGO®'s internal infrastructure and to provide customer support and quality assurance for VARGO®'s Continuous Order Fulfillment Engine (COFE®), its Warehouse Execution System software.

"David brings a great deal of systems administrator experience to our team, and we are excited to have someone with his background on our software support and quality assurance team," said Bart Cera, COO and CFO at VARGO®.

Before joining VARGO®, Dickens worked as systems administrator at Solutions Development Corp. in Dahlgren, Va., outside of Washington, D.C. In that capacity, he supported U.S. Navy weapons software development and enforced Department of Defense information assurance guidelines. Prior to that, he worked as an associate systems administrator with General Dynamics IT in Springfield, Va. A U.S. Navy veteran, Dickens served from 2009 to 2014 as a Navy Information Systems Technician aboard the USS Kearsarge, during which time he worked as a systems administrator for highly classified systems.

Dickens holds several certifications, including CompTIA Security+, CompTIA A+, and is a Microsoft Certified Professional-Windows 7. He attended the University of Akron and is currently working toward his Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity from the University of Maryland, with an expected Fall 2017 graduation.

A native of Sebring, Ohio, Dickens lives with his wife and two children in Delaware (ZIP Code 43221).
