Mississauga, Ontario - April 12, 2017 - Steve Johnston, Vice President of Sales and Customer Service, CHEP Canada, moderated a consumer products industry CEO panel discussion, Perspectives from the C-Suite, at the Food and Consumer Products of Canada (FCPC) Annual Supply Chain Symposium. The session showcased the importance of an efficient and sustainable supply chain to CEOs who lead some of Canada's largest companies and most iconic and recognizable brands. Panel participants included executives from Mars Canada, 3M Canada Company and The Clorox Company of Canada.

"More and more, consumer packaged goods companies are focusing on their supply chains to improve efficiency, generate cost-savings and improve the sustainability of their products," said Michael Graydon, CEO of FCPC. "Today's CEO discussion put our industry's innovative approach to supply chain management on full display, with CHEP and major CPG companies highlighting the challenges and opportunities the modern supply chain presents."

The panel discussed CEO expectations on supply chain management and marketplace growth, efficiency and cost-savings, sustainability, risk management, corporate social responsibility, transparency, innovation and talent acquisition.

"It was an honor to facilitate today's discussion," said Mr. Johnston. "When you are in the business of creating a more efficient and sustainable supply chain like CHEP, the insights of industry leaders like these is invaluable and will make us all better at what we do."
