RALEIGH, NC (January 11, 2017) - Gregory Poole Lift Systems has been awarded the prestigious MVP (Most Valuable Partner) Award for 2017! This is the sixth consecutive year that Gregory Poole has earned an MVP Award from the industry's trade association, MHEDA (Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association).

Award recipients must satisfy a rigorous set of criteria with less than 7% of the association's membership earning the award. As a 2017 MVP, Gregory Poole Lift Systems has successfully demonstrated a commitment to business excellence, professionalism and good stewardship.

"We are honored to accept the MHEDA MVP award for the sixth consecutive year - each year since the inception of the MVP program," said Hal Ingram, Group Vice President, Lift Systems, Gregory Poole Equipment Company. "Our primary objective is to take care of the customer and we are committed to delivering the world-class equipment and exemplary service our customers have come to expect from the Gregory Poole family. MHEDA has been a valuable partner to us and we are proud to be a part of such a prestigious organization."

To qualify for the annual MVP Award, companies are required to provide evidence of their commitment to their partners in business including their customers, employees and suppliers. They must satisfy criteria in the following important areas:
• Industry Advocacy
• Customer Service & Safety Practices
• Business Networking
• Continuing Education
• Business Best Practices

"MHEDA members represent the best of our industry; and those who earn the MVP Award have documented that excellence and commitment to their customers, employees and the material handling industry," said Scott Lee, MHEDA's 2016 Chairman of the Board and President of Schaumburg, IL based Conveyor Solutions, Inc. "MHEDA is very proud of our MVP Award winners."
