Colliers Inks 109,410-SF Lease Renewal for WATER-JEL Technologies

December 15, 2016
No Comments

CARLSTADT, N.J., Dec. 14, 2016 - WATER-JEL Technologies has renewed its 109,410-square-foot lease at 50 Broad Street in Carlstadt, in a long-term transaction brokered by Colliers International Group Inc. (NASDAQ: CIGI, TSX: CIG). The burn-care product manufacturer maintains its headquarters and production facility at the Prologis-owned industrial property.

Colliers' John Donnelly, based in the global commercial real estate services firm's Parsippany, N.J., office, represented WATER-JEL Technologies in its initial lease at 50 Broad Street in 2011 as well as its recent re-commitment there.

WATER-JEL Technologies provides emergency burn-care products for the pre-hospital treatment of burn injuries. A world market leader, the company serves industrial, emergency medical services, fire services, sea air rescue, U.S. military, food services and Formula One motor racing clients, according to its website. It also maintains a consumer products division.

"50 Broad Street continues as an ideal location for WATER-JEL Technologies," Donnelly noted. "The company has extensive in-place infrastructure that accommodates its sophisticated, FDA-regulated manufacturing operation. Additionally, Prologis has been highly responsive to WATER-JEL's evolving needs, and the two organizations have a great working relationship. Prologis' Paul Rosen and Jason Tenenbaum were an integral part of a seamless lease renewal process."
