Bastian Solutions Expands Material Handling Services to Pennsylvania

November 17, 2016
No Comments

Bastian Solutions, a global material handling systems integrator, announced today the opening of its newest office in Valley Forge, PA. The expansion brings local material handling support to existing Bastian Solutions clients as well as the opportunity to assist new customers with their automation needs.

"Our presence in the Northeast, and especially Pennsylvania, has grown significantly during the past two years," stated Greg Conner, Vice President of Eastern U.S. at Bastian Solutions. "We have many customers in this region, so opening a local office made sense to ensure we could offer the best support. However, we are also seeing tremendous growth within this region, making it an excellent opportunity to reach new clientele."

To kick start the Pennsylvania office, Bastian Solutions promoted Nathan Busch to regional manager to oversee operations and develop a strong local presence. Prior to this role, Busch was a consulting engineer for Bastian Solutions' consulting group where he worked hand-in-hand with clients to evaluate their processes, analyze distribution and operational data, and recommend solutions to increase throughputs, productivity, and capacity. Busch has experience designing and pricing warehousing and distribution solutions, including best practices, layout design, storage solutions, and labor solutions. He also has a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and is certified in MOST Time Measurement.

Two additional employees have also been added to the Pennsylvania office--Marco Lentini and Austin Galaska. Lentini, a mechanical engineering graduate from Temple University College of Engineering, joins as a field application engineer. Galaska, a mechanical engineering graduate from Messiah College, joins as a project engineer. Both gentlemen complement Adam Cole, also a field application engineer, who has worked locally over the last two years to support a number of Bastian Solutions customers.
