Dropoff Same-Day Delivery Launches in Los Angeles

July 26, 2016
No Comments

Running a business in Los Angeles has become a challenge for both owners and employees alike. However, companies looking to ease their workload can now turn to Dropoff, a same-day delivery service for businesses, who announced its expansion to Los Angeles. The move brings its proprietary logistics technology and highly-rated service to California for the first time. Businesses across all of Los Angeles' top industries, including film and television, health care, professional services, food and grocery, and retail can now better serve their customers with on-demand, same-day delivery.

In a recent study conducted by Dropoff, Los Angeles business owners and employees reported significant challenges of working in the city. 82% said navigating the city during the day makes their job challenging and 86% said commuting makes the city a challenging place to work. Additionally, 60% cited that unreliable service providers and vendors make their workday harder.

"When looking at new markets to bring our services to, Los Angeles was at the top of our list," said Sean Spector, CEO of Dropoff. "Our goal at Dropoff is to make same-day delivery one less thing businesses have to worry about so they can get back to doing what makes them most successful."

Dropoff offers businesses a superior experience built on convenience, reliability and unmatched customer service. At the core of Dropoff's offerings is its proprietary technology platform, which includes web and mobile ordering capabilities, real-time tracking and confirmations, a fast, scalable, 24/7/365 dispatch automation named Intelligent Dispatch, and a feature-rich API for easy integration into clients' e-commerce sites or warehouse management software.

"As someone who was raised and built a company in Los Angeles, I understand the challenges that businesses and employees face every day," said Spector. "Running a business in LA is a hard task, and companies across the city are looking for professional and reliable service providers to ease their workload. We've made our brand synonymous with unparalleled customer service and cutting-edge same-day logistics technology. We're proud to have a 4.9/5 star rating across hundreds of thousands of deliveries. We look forward to helping LA companies focus on what they do best and leave the last-mile delivery to the experts at Dropoff."

In celebration of its launch, Dropoff is running a Twitter giveaway to award randomly selected LA business owners and employees with free same-day deliveries. To participate, workers simply tweet @Dropoff an item they would like delivered using the hashtag #DropoffDelivers and, if selected, Dropoff will show up to take that task off their hands. More details about the giveaway can be found at www.dropoff.com/dropoff-delivers-giveaway.

Dropoff works with leading brands across many sectors relying on last mile delivery to get items into the hands of their customers quickly and professionally, including Whole Foods, Sprinkles Cupcakes, Neiman Marcus, Zazzle, Amerita Infusion Service, JW Marriott, and Cushman & Wakefield | Oxford Commercial. Its expansion to Los Angeles marks its first operations outside of Texas, where it currently serves businesses in Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio. Dropoff expects to expand to additional cities and states throughout the second half of the year.
