Synergy Logistics - the company behind the multi-award winning Snapfulfil warehouse management system - is making a major investment in new global headquarters in the UK, complete with its own 30,000 sq ft warehouse.
Established in the 1970s, Synergy entered the US market in 2010 and, in addition to its UK headquarters, currently has its US head office in Charleston, SC, with a second office in Chicago, IL.
The new HQ will provide additional, purpose-built office space to accommodate Synergy's continued strong growth. It is also anticipated that Synergy will operate the warehouse on a third-party basis for customers, using its best of breed Snapfulfil WMS to manage these operations.
The move also represents a further leap forward for Synergy Logistics as it continues to challenge for a greater share of the WMS market, both in the UK and in the US.
Work on the new facility is already underway and it is anticipated that the company's 50 strong head office team will re-locate in early 2017.
CEO of Synergy Logistics Ltd, Tony Dobson says: "As well as giving us the room we need to grow, the decision to open our own warehouse to provide third-party logistics services to customers, using our own system to underpin the highest levels of operational efficiency, clearly demonstrates the potential we see in our Snapfulfil WMS.
"Our customer base is growing rapidly in both size and stature and this latest investment, along with our ongoing investment in R&D, will help us continue to capitalize on our strong momentum in the market."
