FORTE ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH THRIVE MARKET

FORTE to design and implement automated distribution center; enable faster delivery to Thrive Market customers

FORTE, a Swisslog company, proudly announces that it has been retained to design and implement a new automated distribution facility in Batesville, IN that will enable Thrive Market to deliver non-perishables to U.S. customers within two days.

Thrive Market, one of the nation's fastest-growing e-commerce companies, is a membership-based online platform focused on making healthy living easy and affordable for all. For a $60 annual membership fee, customers can access more than 4,000 best-selling natural and organic products at prices 25 to 50 percent lower than retail. The LA-based startup adds thousands of new members each month, and for every paid membership, Thrive Market donates a free membership to a family in need in the US. Consumer demand for healthy and convenient food continues to rise, driving growth and additional investment in the Thrive Market supply chain, including the new distribution center in Batesville, IN.

FORTE, a leading warehouse automation and warehouse execution software (WES) firm, will be responsible for engineering and implementation services for material handling equipment, warehouse execution software, project management and technical support at the distribution center.

"We truly appreciate the opportunity to be a part of Thrive Market's continued expansion," said A.K. Schultz, FORTE Managing Director. "We look forward to leveraging FORTE's leadership in warehouse automation, expertise in e-commerce fulfillment and commitment to customer success to contribute to Thrive Market's mission."

"At Thrive Market, we pride ourselves on making healthy living easy, affordable and accessible for everyone. Delivering what customers want in a timely manner is a huge part of that," said Nick Green, CEO and founder of Thrive Market. "Partnering with an expert like FORTE for our new distribution center will only make that mission easier for us and ensure we keep our customers happy."

FORTE was acquired by Swisslog, a global provider of integrated logistics solutions for warehouses, distribution centers and hospitals, in April of 2015. Swisslog's expertise in automated storage and retrieval systems and other goods-to-person technologies, combined with FORTE's capability in conveyor and sortation systems and leadership in warehouse execution systems, has resulted in a powerful partnership that better serves their combined customer base.
