January 10, 2016
No Comments

A unique window of opportunity in India for project forwarders and associated service providers ends on January 26 when registrations officially close for the Certificate of Achievement in Project Cargo Management training course in Mumbai, from February 1-2, 2016.
The training course offers participants the opportunity to learn and refresh skills that meet the requirements of clients transporting overdimensional high-value cargoes.
The course topics cover project cargo case studies, risk management, strategic partnerships, value adding strategies, traffic and logistics functional planning, meeting client expectations, biosecurity, working with brokers, and preparing winning quotations.
The training also include business communication workshops to eliminate costly misunderstandings and satisfy the increasing importance placed on professional communication skills by employers.
The course trainers are the founder and general-manager of heavy-lift transport network the Project Professionals Group, Kevin Stephens, and business communications consultant and university educator Rodger Hall.
Mr Stephens said the training course was part of the Breakbulk Events education program and in its present format had not been available in India.
"The opportunity to attend this course in India is a one-off opportunity for forwarders, shippers and associated service suppliers to further develop their professional skills," Mr Stephens said.
The ISO-accredited training is also certified by the Project Management Institute (Arabian Gulf Chapter) for education and training in Bahrain, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia and will be held at the Express Global Logistics Head Office Board Room, Kulkarni Patil Building, 14 Murzban Road, 2nd Floor (Opposite New Empire Cinema), Fort, Mumbai.
For further course information and to register email Kevin Stephens kevinstephens@ppgprojects.com Attractive group discounts are available.
