Yale Materials Handling Corp. has launched a mobile app for its Yale Vision telemetry solution, the company said today.
Yale's app works as a companion to the existing Yale Vision desktop pOréal to bring data-driven insights and management functionality to the warehouse floor, the Greenville, N.C.-based company said. Yale says the app is the first and only telemetry-focused app available from a lift truck manufacturer.
The app gives lift truck users access to data anywhere, anytime. Users can view fleet utilization metrics in near real-time, for instance, and receive notifications from the app in the event of equipment impact or an error on a pre-shift safety checklist, the company said.
"The adoption of connected IIoT solutions continues to grow, as does the need to access instant insights while on the move," Steven LaFevers, vice president of Motive Power and Telematics for Yale, said in a statement announcing the availability of the new product. "Yale is the only lift truck manufacturer to offer a fully integrated telematics app with such extensive features, giving operations the tools they need for smart, data-driven fleet management."
The mobile app is compatible with both android and iOS devices, the company said, and comes at no additional charge to Yale Vision users.
