Old Dominion opens second St. Louis service center

Less-than-truckload (LTL) carrier Old Dominion Freight Line Inc. today opened its second service center in the St. Louis area to cover the east side of the city and 15 markets in neighboring Illinois.

The new facility is located on 12 acres and has 83 dock doors, according to Thomasville, N.C.-based Old Dominion.

The existing St. Louis service center, located in suburban St. Charles, Mo., covers the western side of St. Louis and its suburbs, Old Dominion said.
