Network Global Logistics launches shipment-tracking app
Mobile application helps manage same-day shipments.
Third-party logistics provider (3PL) Network Global Logistics LLC (NGL) has launched an app to track same-day shipments. The NGL Mobile 3PL app is designed to put real-time tracking and delivery data at clients' fingertips, a capability that Broomfield, Colo.-based NGL claims is an industry first.
Enterprise organizations can use the app to improve their visibility over mission-critical shipping and handling details, such as:
- tracking shipments at any time, from any location;
- managing multiple shipments instead of managing tracking numbers;
- geolocating orders on a route map for real visibility from pickup to delivery; and
- viewing their shipment history.
The NGL Mobile App is available now for free download through the iOS App Store and Google Play store.
"We want to empower our clients to quickly access their data anytime, anywhere," NGL CEO John Labrie said in a release. "NGL's new mobile application goes above and beyond convenience—it seamlessly integrates with our NetShip Solution to provide customers with the peace of mind and security that comes from having 100-percent visibility for their shipments from pickup to delivery. NGL Mobile gives our clients the tools they need to manage their most important shipments on a platform that is intuitive and efficient. We are proud to be the first to deliver this amazing functionality to the industry."
