New Multiorders Software to Allow Online Vendors To Sell Smarter and Faster Than Ever

March 25, 2019
No Comments

March 25, 2019: With e-commerce predicted to make up 14% of all sales made across the world by 2021, Multiorders, a provider of automated inventory management software, recently made its unique e-commerce solution available to the public, meaning that online vendors now have the opportunity to sell their products quicker and more efficiently than ever.

Over the last decade, the popularity of buying and selling goods online has undergone an explosion thanks to the rise of mobile shopping. Marketing experts believe mobile shopping will continue to rise, making up 72.9% of all e-commerce shopping by 2021 thanks to the ease of access and speed that that mobile devices currently bring.

Euromonitor International recently predicted that within the next two years, e-commerce sales will make up 14% of all global sales. However, many vendors still find themselves unable to always sell quickly and efficiently due to a lack of online sales process efficiency, which has been found to improve sales flows, remove human error from stock taking and distribution, and improve customer service levels to ensure improved client retention.

Multiorders, who recently launched a one-stop-shop workflow-optimising system for online vendors, has integrated a number of solutions within its software as way of addressing the sales issues that online marketplaces currently face, including automated stock-tracking and shipping management, easy management of purchase orders, as well as the reduced cost and creation of shipping labels.

Multiorders has gone through an extensive period of testing, and has accumulated plenty of feedback from their e-commerce clients prior to launching their process optimization solution.

Ahead of the e-commerce's predicted rise in popularity in the coming years, the following solutions that Multiorders provides in response to the problems that online-based retailers currently face should help them sell better and faster.

1: Stock control

One of the biggest problems that online stores have is stock control, which is time consuming, tedious, and when carried out by humans, mistakes are often made.Multiorders' sofware automatically updates stock levels. This reduces the risk of errors, allows business owners to forget about small, time-consuming tasks and instead focus on entering new markets and generating larger ROIs.

2: Managing several online stores

Managing several online stores at one time can prove difficult thanks to various types of software for different marketplaces. As way of managing different stores at one time, a proposed solution is to experiment with all-in-one software which gives clients the opportunity to run a number of different marketplaces simultaneously, including Amazon, eBay, Shopify, Etsy, plus others. To date, Multiorders have over 50 online store integrations, and are adding new ones every day.

3: Shipment tracking

Tracking shipments plays a large role in customer service, and can prove tricky to do when tracked manually. By using a fully-automated solution, clients can merge shipping orders and even add sub-deliverers to redirect them. Furthermore, it also allows for multiple shops to be put in one place, and it automatically tracks and updates shipped orders meaning that the business does not have to do so manually.

4: Production and costs of shipping labels

One of the biggest challenges that the online vendor faces is the production of shipping labels for their packages. Outsourcing them can be expensive, especially for a new SME, and there is always the risk of running into human errors, which can cause logistic issues and cost more to fix. Multiorders' inventory management software allows users to create their own in-house labels is an effective way of saving costs and reducing the time spent on printing.

5: Make Purchase Orders Easy

Purchase orders can present some difficulties for an online store, especially if they are new to the market. A purchase order is very similar to an invoice. Via the online store, the vendor creates a purchase order and sends it to the supplier. This is different to an invoice, because in that case, the supplier creates an invoice and sends it to the vendor. As a way of reducing the risk of double ordering, inventory management software keeps track of what has been ordered and re-orders stock when it is falling below a certain level, meaning that staff do not have to do so manually.

Should the predicted leap in e-commerce happen by 2021, then automated processes will be needed to help online vendors improve their working processes via smoother workflows and more streamlined approaches.
