CCM Launches New Module on ChassisChoice.com: Provider Choice Options

February 13, 2019
No Comments

Budd Lake, NJ. February 13, 2019. Consolidated Chassis Management is proud to announce the launch of the latest module on ChassisChoice.com, the Chassis Choice POréal. This new module facilitates the process of the Choice of Chassis Provider Program, offering shippers and motor carriers access to a streamlined system for managing their chassis provisioning options.

The Choice of Chassis Provider Program is unique to CCM where the shipper and motor carrier can set their own terms and rates with their preferred provider on their merchant haulage moves. The new module's shipment management feature allows shippers and motor carriers the ability to upload their shipments indicating merchant haulage moves where they are paying for the chassis so that usage may be given to their preferred provider. Additional components in the module will be released this year to further simplify the process that is executed to identify merchant haulage moves.

"It is important to fairly balance the diverse needs of the industry stakeholders and create solutions designed to foster competition amongst the community. We know one size does not fit all and CCM is in position to provide these solutions while supporting multiple contribution models." said Jon Poelma, President and COO. "We have heard loud and clear the desire from the industry to choose their provisioning on moves they are responsible for."

In 2017 CCM launched chassischoice.com featuring the Booking System module for the co-op pools followed by the Reservation System module for customers looking to reserve Premium Chassis. Today over 2,700 users actively use chassischoice.com with over 300 BCO's and motor carriers utilizing the Choice of Chassis Provider Program. This is just the latest enhancement to CCM's system offering.
