Wildeck, Inc. Launches Pallet Drop Zone Safety Gate

January 29, 2019
No Comments

Waukesha, WI - Wildeck, Inc. is pleased to introduce the newest addition to its family of material handling products, the Pallet Drop Zone (DZ) Safety Gate. This new product, equipped with a double-sided gate, offers maximum protection to workers accessing large pallet loads at elevated levels.

As one side of the DZ gate is raised, the other closes. This feature ensures that the elevated ledge is protected at all times, safeguarding personnel and palletized materials from falls. In contrast to similar double-sided gate designs, the DZ gate utilizes more than one pivot point on the pivoting arms. This results in vertical articulating movement that minimizes overall footprint while maximizing the efficiency of vertical and horizontal storage space. The DZ gate can be customized on all three planes, making it one of the most flexible gates on the market.

"We are excited to introduce this highly customizable product into the material handling marketplace," said Paul Mihelich, VP of Sales. "The DZ gate's innovative design provides an unparalleled level of protection for facilities with elevated storage solutions."

Wildeck's Pallet Drop Zone Gate is balanced both vertically and horizontally for smooth operation. The arm geometry is uniquely designed for single or double pallets up to 72+ inches high. This level of design flexibility makes the DZ gate a preferred solution in racking systems and other environments where space optimization is key. The DZ gate can be installed directly onto rack structures, as a rack mounted installation, or by itself, as a freestanding unit bolted to the deck. Designed in compliance with OSHA and Cal-OSHA regulations, the DZ gate is the best-in-class solution for facilities looking to protect their personnel and palletized merchandise.

Headquartered in Waukesha, WI, with additional manufacturing operations in Goodyear, AZ, Wildeck, Inc. is a member of MHI (Material Handling Industry Association), MHEDA (Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association), FMA (Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, International) and the NAEC (National Association of Elevator Contractors).

Wildeck is the largest manufacturer of structural steel mezzanine platforms, manual and automated vertical lifts (VRCs), rideable material lifts (RMLs) and safety guarding products in North America. A complete line of industrial rolling ladders, custom-designed work platforms and other high access products are also available for the aviation assembly and aircraft maintenance industries. Wildeck products improve supply chain productivity and provide additional capacity, efficiency and safety in manufacturing plants, warehouses, distribution centers, third party logistics operations, automobile dealerships, retail backrooms and many other facilities. They are sold through a dedicated and experienced network of customer-service-oriented dealers and systems integrators nationwide.
