Revolutionary Lydia Voice 8 leverages deep neural network technology for enhanced voice recognition

Charlotte, NC - February 6, 2018 - Ehrhardt + Partner Solutions (E+P), a leading global provider of supply chain execution software solutions, today launched Lydia Voice 8, a major upgrade to its voice workflow-driven supply chain solution. Lydia Voice 8 is the first voice recognition solution for the logistics market to use deep neural network technology and designed specifically for the industrial environment where "near perfect" voice recognition performance is required.

Lydia Voice 8 modernizes phonetic and word-based word recognition models and delivers almost-perfect recognition rates, which is especially helpful with diverse workforces who have challenging dialects. In addition, it eliminates time-consuming voice template training to boost productivity, and streamlines support and onboarding of new, temporary and day-labor voice-enabled workers.

Major new capabilities include:

• Added support for Android devices that challenges the historically expensive "voice-only" device market.
• Added support for the new Voxter Elite + Voice Computing Device, as well as additional support for a wide range of Zebra, Honeywell, and Datalogic Android and Windows-based mobile computers, and a wide range of scanning devices.
• Added support for wide-band Bluetooth headsets, such as the Jabra BlueParrott B450-XT, Jabra BlueParrott C400-XT and the Zebra HS3100.
• New API to enable ERP or WMS user profiles to synchronize seamlessly with Lydia Voice 8.

Additionally, Lydia Voice 8 virtually eliminates one of the most time-consuming multi-site IT responsibilities associated with a typical voice project with Lydia Voice Enterprise SiteSwitcher with dynamic set up. The revolutionary capability enables IT to set up voice device network security and WAN profiles from a central location. The devices are then smart enough to adapt to each location's network security access protocol. This is extremely useful for businesses that centralize device configuration or move devices from one location to another due to shifting workload requirements.

The release of Lydia Voice 8 comes on the heels of the success of the Lydia VoiceWear solution, which eliminates the need for a traditional worker headset. Workers wear a "voice vest," outfitted with specialized microphones and directionally optimized speakers to ensure a premier worker experience in noisy environments. Voice vests are an attractive option for warehouse workers where wearing a headset becomes burdensome, especially helpful in warm and open-air environments.

Lydia Voice 8 is now available from E+P or through an E+P solution provider. Customers have the freedom to choose their preferred software licensing approach, ranging from monthly subscriptions to hosted, SaaS, and traditional licensing options.

Notably, the zerk fittings have been eliminated, as the new design makes them unnecessary.
Complementing the ZFSEC series, Hamilton introduces the all-new Spinfinity® Super Endurance Dual Wheel Caster (ZFSEC2) series. This dual wheel series is engineered for extra heavy-duty applications where stability, durability, and maintenance-free operation are paramount. New Horizon Releases Innovative Functionality for Optimizing Inbound Logistics Scheduling at DCs

The latest version includes the ability to optimally schedule inbound deliveries, taking into account distribution center (DC) receiving capacity, thus minimizing receiving bottlenecks and lowering inbound logistics costs.
