Trade Tech, an application service provider for the transportation and logistics industry, has developed a single platform for all security filings, including the new European Union (EU) Regulation 1875/2006, which requires Entry Summary Declarations (ENS) in line with the advance manifest rule.
Trade Tech's software, created for the NVOCC and freight forwarding community, collects, updates, and submits all information required by Customs in a single filing. The new EU ENS solution will help shippers avoid penalties and reduce noncompliance risks that are enforced by European Customs.
The Trade Tech interface is designed to capture independent filings as a vessel calls ports in various countries around the world. Trade Tech's interface also includes completing an Entry Summary Declaration form for all shipments from the Americas and Asia with final discharge ports in the European Union countries. The single platform is integrated with AMS, ISF, and ACI security requirements.
