ALK Technologies Inc., a developer of routing, mileage, and mapping software, has released version 22 of ALK|FleetSuite. The latest release harnesses PC-Miler 22 map data to provide critical visibility and control of fleet operations, including in-cab truck-specific directions in real time for drivers, street-level fleet location displays for managers, and arrival time notification for customers.

ALK|FleetSuite 22 has been updated with the latest street-level data, including information provided by state and local municipalities. Significant improvements were made across the United States and Canada, including an additional 391,500 miles of truckrestricted roadway for a total of 853,500 miles. The release also includes 1.8 million weight restrictions and allowances and features more than 2,800 new height restrictions. Updates include critical changes in Illinois, Kentucky, Mississippi, West Virginia, North Dakota, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan.

Using ALK|FleetSuite Directions, drivers generate truck-specific turn-by-turn driving directions to their final destination. These directions can be transmitted with varying degrees of detail to conserve bandwidth and minimize messaging costs. Even at the lowest level of detail, ALK's directions convey the necessary information in a visual format drivers can understand at a glance.

ALK|FleetSuite Mapping allows managers to pinpoint the exact location of their fleet vehicles based on real-time latitude/longitude information. They can zoom out to any selected point of view, from a city, a county, a state, a region, or virtually any location in North America.

While a truck is en route, ALK|FleetSuite Estimated Time of Arrival/Out of Route can issue an alert when a truck deviates by a user-defined distance from the assigned route. Similarly, it can maintain an ongoing estimate of a truck's arrival time at a specific destination and dynamically generate a revised ETA as conditions change.

ALK|FleetSuite's modules can be licensed separately, so fleets can find the solution that best fits their needs.

Sealed precision ball bearings are also now standard in all wheels, contributing to the maintenance-free performance of the series. Notably, the zerk fittings have been eliminated, as the new design makes them unnecessary.
Complementing the ZFSEC series, Hamilton introduces the all-new Spinfinity® Super Endurance Dual Wheel Caster (ZFSEC2) series. This dual wheel series is engineered for extra heavy-duty applications where stability, durability, and maintenance-free operation are paramount. Like its counterpart, the ZFSEC2 series leverages the new 'V-Style' seal, ensuring that each caster is fully protected against contaminants that could compromise performance.
Combined with sealed precision ball wheel bearings, this caster series ensures zero-fix, 100% maintenance-free performance. The dual-wheel configuration enhances stability and allows for a lower overall height, offering a perfect blend of strength and maneuverability.
Casters in both series are finished in a durable HAA polyester platinum powder coat and are available in a wide variety of wheel types, allowing for customization based on application needs.
