NEW BREMEN, Ohio (Sept. 4, 2018) - Crown Equipment Corporation, one of the world's largest material handling companies, announced today that Ryder Material Handling is now doing business throughout the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec as Crown Lift Trucks. J.H. Ryder had served as an authorized Crown dealer for decades before formally becoming part of the Crown Lift Trucks organization in 2014. Since that time, the company had operated as Ryder Material Handling, part of Crown Lift Trucks.

Crown and Ryder have worked together successfully for more than 35 years with a strong relationship based on common business values. The adoption of the Crown Lift Trucks brand is the next step in the natural evolution of the business relationship but is not expected to materially change current day-to-day operations. All Crown Lift Trucks locations in Canada will continue to provide a wide selection of award-winning forklifts, warehouse design solutions, the Integrity Parts and Service System™ and Crown's wireless InfoLink® fleet and operator management system.

"Looking forward, Crown is committed to enhancing its presence in Canada with a consistent and seamless customer experience on a national basis," said Ron Greer, president and chief executive officer, Ryder Material Handling. "We are continuing with a smooth business integration process with the same people, products and processes that have been in place for several years and, in conjunction with Crown's authorized independent dealers in Canada, will provide a comprehensive support network from coast to coast."
