Shelton, Conn. January 4, 2018 — 3Gtms, Inc., a global provider of Tier 1 transportation management software, announced today that M&W Distribution Services, Inc. has selected its 3G-TM transportation management system (TMS) to support the growth of its managed transportation services. M&W Distribution Services, Inc., a West Logistics Group Company, is a food-grade, full-service 3PL provider headquartered in Atlanta with an additional facility in Tampa, Florida.

With the 3Gtms solution, M&W has a powerful TMS to manage all activity from planning and optimization through rate management, integration, execution and payment. M&W will strengthen its expansion into managed transportation services, as well as streamline many of its current software systems and processes for increased efficiencies. M&W selected 3Gtms because of the solution's flexibility, the team's stellar industry reputation and the ability to integrate systems and customers quickly.

"As we expand our services and anticipate customer needs, we sought a comprehensive Tier 1 TMS that would support these rapid changes and remain flexible to how we want to run our operations" said Scott Krueger, director of transportation at M&W. "We found a true partner in the team at 3Gtms. We are confident that their unique TMS and commitment to our success will support our expansion while strengthening the service level our customers expect."

"The lines have blurred in terms of what defines a 3PL, and our TMS was uniquely designed with that fact in mind," said Mitch Weseley, CEO of 3Gtms. "We are proud to partner with M&W as they expand their services and grow their leadership through new offerings."
