AIT Worldwide Logistics' Vaughn Moore Joins the Center for Enriched Living's Board of Directors

July 6, 2017
No Comments

ITASCA, ILLINOIS - Vaughn Moore, President and CEO of AIT Worldwide Logistics, began serving on the Center for Enriched Living's (CEL) board of directors effective July 1.

Since 2011, Moore and AIT have been increasingly involved with volunteering and fundraising activities benefiting CEL, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with developmental disabilities. Ongoing support has included annual participation in CEL's biggest yearly events: Chefs' Night in the spring and the charity golf outing in the summer. As a board member, Moore will share responsibility for guiding the organization and keeping CEL aligned with its' vision, mission and core values.

Moore and his fellow incoming board members were introduced to donors, staff and other stakeholders by CEL's Executive Director Harriet Levy and outgoing Board President Shea Hart at the organization's annual meeting on June 15.

After the event, Moore said, "I am proud to join the Center for Enriched Living's board and I will use my position to advocate for those among us whose voices are not heard. CEL removes barriers and promotes social inclusion for our members. Through these efforts, we are working to strengthen the community and promote dignity for all. I look forward to my new role in this amazing organization."

In addition to assuming his duties on the board of directors, Moore will participate in CEL's upcoming charity golf outing next month.
