VARGO Hires Project Management Director

Columbus, Ohio (Jan. 14, 2016) — VARGO®, a leading provider of material-handling system integration, warehouse execution software and equipment solutions for major fulfillment and distribution centers, has hired Scott E. Shaw as director of project management.

Shaw will assist in managing system projects and leading the project management office. In that capacity, his goal will be to ensure that VARGO® delivers projects under budget and ahead of schedule, enhances the customer experience and increases the satisfaction and results that VARGO® customers receive. Shaw will be based out of VARGO®'s Grand Rapids office.


Prior to joining VARGO®, Shaw was a regional account manager and a senior project manager for Dematic North America, a company that provides material-handling solutions. He also worked as a business development manager for Vanderlande Industries, a company that supplies warehouse automation solutions and builds baggage-handling systems for airports and sorting systems for parcel and postal services.

Shaw attended the University of Texas and the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where he studied mechanical engineering.

Shaw lives in Wyoming, Mich. (ZIP Code 49509).
