Supply chain software provider HighJump Software Inc., of Orlando, Fla., says that its enterprise suite of products is now available with a modern web user interface, so users can run the applications on any browser or computing device. That capability is unique in the warehouse space, and allows operators to BYOD (bring your own device) for operations such as scanning a QR code to get access to personalized web data, or using web visualization for management, said Craig Moore, HighJump's vice president of sales for North America. The platforms had previously been running in Microsoft Silverlight but now use HTML 5, so users can run HighJump apps on any platform they can purchase at Best Buy, making it easier to run omnichannel operations on devices not usually found inside warehouses, he said.
