Need storage space quickly? Stanley Vidmar believes it has a solution. Its Outdoor Store, developed in partnership with U.K.-based Ban-Air Storage Systems, is a steel-clad semipermanent warehouse that makes use of heavy-duty adjustable racking to support the exterior walls and roof. It is designed for quick construction on parking lots or other relatively flat locations and does not require a foundation. It makes use of the Stanley Vidmar STAK System, which includes removable, adjustable pallets (instead of fixed shelves) and a captive lifting and handling device and Ban-Air racks. The company says it can complete installation within three months of an order. The Outdoor Store has previously been available in Europe and Asia, with several installations at U.S. Army facilities.
