Redwood Logistics has acquired Atlanta-based freight management firm LTX Solutions, the company said today. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Chicago-based Redwood said the deal fuels the company's growth in the Southeast, and that it will continue to invest in LTX's existing management team to grow its presence in the region.
LTX provides less-than-truckload (LTL) freight management and transportation supply chain solutions that complement Redwood's existing LTL managed service offering, according to Redwood. LTX benefits from Redwood's broader suite of services, including multimodal brokerage, complete management transportation capabilities, and cutting-edge technology integration and implementation services, Redwood also said.
The companies said LTX's founder and CEO Adam McDaniel will remain with the combined organization in a senior leadership role.
Redwood Logistics is owned by company management and CI Capital Partners.
