Storage rack maker Frazier Industrial Co. said today it has opened its newest manufacturing facility and has started producing structural steel racking for warehousing storage applications at the site in Tennessee.
The 175,000-square-foot facility in Dyersburg, Tenn., about 100 miles north of Memphis, gives Frazier a footprint in the western part of the state and allows the company to reach a broader market in the Midwest, Frazier President Carlos P. Oliver said in a statement.
The opening is the result of the Long Valley, N.J.-based company's 2017 announcement that it would spend $17.4 million to locate new operations in Dyer County and create 120 new jobs. The Dyersburg facility joins nine other plants across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico as part of Frazier's manufacturing network.
Frazier, which says it has the greatest production capacity in the industry, produces a variety of material handling storage solutions ranging from standard pallet rack systems to complex pick-to belt towers, AS/RS installations, and rack supported buildings.
