Industrial property developer and manager CenterPoint Properties said today it has acquired three buildings in Georgia and Virginia on 94 acres, totaling nearly 1.1 million square feet.
Two of the buildings are four miles from the Port of Savannah, while the third serves as a cross-dock operation near the Port of Virginia and is adjacent to the company's intermodal center, Oak Brook, Ill.-based CenterPoint said in a statement.
All three buildings have 32-foot clearances, are adjacent to various interstate highways in their regions, and are fully leased, CenterPoint said.
The acquisition brings CenterPoint's East Coast portfolio to 9.4 million square feet across 65 buildings. The company, which focuses on industrial property for supply chain use, manages 53.7 million square feet in total.
