The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) said yesterday it has named consultancy A.T. Kearney to prepare the annual "State of Logistics Report," sponsored by Penske Logistics, replacing Rosalyn Wilson, who authored the report for 11 years.
In a statement, CSCMP gave no explanation for the change. It said that Reading, Pa.-based Penske Logistics, which has sponsored the report since 2009, will continue in that role.
Wilson assisted Robert V. Delaney, the report's founder, and took over its authorship after Delaney's death in May 2004. The report has been published annually since 1988, and is considered one of the most influential in the industry. It is published each June.
