Transport and logistics provider Con-way Inc. said today it has named Hank M. Bartos interim president of Con-way Truckload, the company's truckload unit. Bartos succeeds former Con-Way Truckload President Joseph M. Dagnese, who last week was named president of Con-way Freight, the parent's less-than-truckload and regional carrier unit.
Bartos, a 30-year Con-way veteran, is currently vice president of operations for Con-way Enterprise Services, Con-way's services unit. He will hold the position for the next several months while Con-way looks for a permanent replacement, the company said. Con-way Truckload is based in Joplin, Mo.; the parent company is based in Ann Arbor, Mich.
Dagnese replaced W. Gregory Lehmkuhl, who was named to run Lineage Logistics, one of the nation's largest temperature-controlled logistics companies. Lehmkuhl will become CEO of Colton, Calif.-based Lineage in July.
