Though IT spending in general remains in the doldrums, spending on logistics management software continues to show robust growth, according to a recent study by ARC Advisory Group, a Dedham, Mass.-based research and consulting firm. Revenues in the market were $1.6 billion in 2001 and are expected to grow at an average 12.1-percent clip through 2006. By ARC's definition, logistics management software includes warehouse management, transportation management and supply chain process management solutions.
