Are your workers burning out? Working conditions in the distribution center tend to be less than ideal: Hard physical labor is the norm, and much of the often-repetitive work must be completed under deadline, which can lead to boredom or frustration. Not surprisingly, distribution centers everywhere are reporting high turnover.
In July, DC VELOCITY will present a special report on how to fight stress and burnout and keep your workers on the job longer.
The report, prepared for DC VELOCITY by Chad W. Autry of Bradley University, Patricia J. Daugherty of the University of Oklahoma and Thomas L. Freese of Freese & Associates, will be based on recent research on the nature of stress and burnout among distribution center workers and what can be done to reduce those factors.
