Absolutely, positively reliable. Wal-Mart Stores Inc. recently named FedEx Corp. as the recipient of the company's annual Carrier of the Year award. "FedEx Corp. operating companies FedEx Express and FedEx Ground have provided outstanding service for Wal-Mart," says David Reiff, Wal-Mart's vice president for logistics, who cited the carriers' commitment to quality and customer service. Selection criteria for the award include ease of doing business, communication, flexibility, customer service and follow-up/correction of errors.
