The World Trade Institute of Pace University now offers an online certificate program in International Trade Management. The program, which the institute claims is the first of its kind to be offered over the Internet, consists of 10 10-week courses that focus on best practices and practical management skills in trade, logistics and trade management.
The program has been divided into three units. Students, who can take a maximum of three courses per term, advance from unit to unit after completing all the coursework for the previous unit. Courses in Unit 1 cover trade transactions, global logistics management, and international business and culture. The Unit 2 courses are export management, import management, ocean shipping, and trade finance. The courses in the final unit include trade law and trade agreements, international sales and marketing, and global e-commerce. The fee is $1,000 per course.
