Wire Shelving Packages

April 1, 2008
No Comments

Akro-Mils, a manufacturer of storage, organization, and transport products, has introduced a new line of Wire Shelving Packages. The shelves are available in up to 28 system options and are configured to work with Akro-Mils bins and totes. They are designed for long-lasting performance, are easy to assemble, and come in six customizable sizes (14 x 36 inches, 14 x 48 inches, 18 x 36 inches, 18 x 48 inches, 24 x 48 inches, and 24 x 60 inches). The systems are also designed with a variety of heights, from a 63-inch upright shelf with casters to a 74-inch upright standalone shelf.

All shelving units feature an open wire design, which allows workers to identify content quickly and reduces dust accumulation. Other features include highly maneuverable locking or non-locking casters for mobile units and steel-tip footplates for stationary units to help prevent movement. The products are easy to set up and install as they have quick-adjust clips that securely attach the shelving units to the upright framework. The clips unlock to adjust shelves.

The shelving systems are constructed from steel with a chrome finish for durability and work with many of the Akro-Mils storage products currently available, including AkroBins, Shelf Bins, Stak-N- Store Bins, System Bins, Akro-Grids, Nest & Stack Totes, Straight Wall Containers, VantageBins, and Akro-Tub Containers.
