AML, a developer and manufacturer of wired and wireless automated data capture products, launches the MT7570 vehicle-mount terminal. Featuring IP65-sealed metal construction and flexible computing capabilities, the MT7570 mounts easily to industrial vehicles like forklift trucks, and delivers robust mobile performance for real-time receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping applications in harsh environments.

Designed to integrate easily and securely with existing wireless networks, the AML MT7570 vehicle-mount terminal features integrated 802.11b/g WLAN radio technology with the latest wireless security protocols. Full USB and RS232 serial connections, as well as optional Bluetooth WPAN communications, provide connectivity to peripheral devices such as bar-code scanners and printers. The internal DC power converter accommodates 9 to 36VDC or 36 to 75VDC, depending on configuration. An optional internal UPS battery ensures stable service for up to 30 minutes in case of power failure.

With its bright, 12.1-inch SVGA color touch-screen display and 160-degree viewing angle, the MT7570 vehicle-mount terminal is easy to read, even in dimly lit warehouse environments. Gloved operators can efficiently enter data via the MT7570's virtual on-screen keypad or optional rugged USB full QWERTY keyboard.
