LC In-Feeder 3000 friction feeder

Friction feeders help warehouses and DCs insert literature into their order cartons as they are packed. With papers, catalogs, reply cards and other forms of literature continually changing, purchasing several feeders for different materials has been common in the industry. But now PSI offers a versatile large-capacity friction feeder, the LC In-Feeder 3000. Suitable for applications such as mail order and direct-to-consumer, this feeder allows a wide range of items to be fed into boxes or totes along existing conveyer lines. Its versatility in dispensing materials of different sizes and thicknesses makes it an economical alternative to purchasing several feeders, and the feeder itself can handle everything from small reply cards to DVDs to catalogs.

Unlike feeders that require frequent belt changes to maintain performance, the LC In-Feeder 3000 incorporates PSI's dual separation technology to help keep belt wear to a minimum. This dual separation technology also helps eliminate double feeds, ensuring literature is not wasted accidentally. DC operators are able to load on the fly without stopping the line. In addition, the LC In-Feeder 3000 has an extremely large stacking capacity, handling up to 4,000 sheets of paper. The unit is also able to feed 60 products per minute and can be custom configured for even faster speeds.
