Mobile Device Manager added features

Connect Inc., a provider of terminal emulation software for RF systems, has added features to its MDM (Mobile Device Manager) client option that help locate missing terminals. A configurable identifier feature enables the customer to track the last user of a handheld device. The operator logs a password when a terminal session starts. This enables the network manager to know who last used it if the device is misplaced. A find feature also allows the network manager to remotely turn on the terminal and create an audible beep so that the device can be located.
