ETV Series 1 mast moving reach trucks

September 1, 2006
No Comments

The Jungheinrich Lift Truck Corp. introduces a new line of highly efficient mast moving reach trucks, the ETV Series 1. The line consists of four trucks: Models ETV 110, 112, 114 and 116. These trucks allow for cost-effective stacking and retrieval of merchandise, even at high lift heights and in confined spaces. Because they have a compact chassis that's only 44 inches wide, ETV 110 and 112 models are able to work in aisles as narrow as 105 inches. These two models have load capacity ratings of 2,000 and 2,400 pounds, respectively. Models ETV 114 and 116 have an outer chassis width of 50 inches and have load capacities of 2,800 and 3,200 pounds.

All Series 1 trucks include a Curve Control feature that limits travel speed and acceleration during cornering to reduce the danger of tipping over. The trucks offer a mast design that delivers superb load visibility and extremely smooth functioning with no jerking, according to the manufacturer. The ETV 114/116 lifts heights to 303 inches, but the standard 240-inch mast has a collapsed mast height of only 103 inches.

At the heart of ETV Series 1 trucks is Jungheinrich's proprietary three-phase AC motor technology that powers the travel, lift and steering motors. The trucks reclaim their kinetic energy during braking and store it in their batteries. They feature a spacious cab with ample legroom and a seat fully adjustable to suit every driver. The steering wheel is also fully adjustable. All essential controls, including the controls for load lifting and lowering, travel direction and horn, are grouped in one location.

DCV-TV 4: Viewer Contributed
Lately people have been asking me a pressing question: “Mike, if there’s a freight recession headed our way, shouldn’t we be seeing freight rates and our freight costs going down?”Ideally the answer to that question would just simply be “yes.” However, these are not simple times. Which is why the answer to this...
