Hyundai Forklift rolls out new stand-up battery lift trucks

Hyundai Forklift introduced the BCS-9 stand-up counterbalanced battery lift trucks for narrow-aisle operation in distribution and manufacturing environments at the ProMat Show this week. The three new models—15BCS-9, 18BCS-9 and 20BCS-9—are available in 3,000-, 3,500-, and 4,000-pound capacities.

BCS-9 forklifts feature a compact design and dual drive motors with 100-percent AC technology.

The AC motors are designed to provide optimum reliability and efficiency at low noise levels, according to Hyundai. The Hyundai BCS-9 forklifts include temperature sensors to ensure longer motor life.

The operating system on the Hyundai BCS-9 lift trucks is ergonomically designed and includes an adjustable armrest; a large, cushioned backrest; and a contoured, minimal-effort joystick, the company says.

An advanced, 3.5-inch LCD color monitor with a self-diagnostic system provides such information as speed, steering wheel position, travel direction, battery discharge, and work mode. The standard load indicator system measures the weight of the load being lifted.

For more information, see Hyundai Forklift's website.

Recently, the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) released their 33rd Annual State of Logistics Report which is created by AT Kearny.
