Intralox launches 7050

Modular plastic conveyor belt provider Intralox introduced a technology designed to help e-commerce companies solve the challenges of packaging lines that need to sort small items and automate high-volume manual work.

The Series 7050 ARB is similar to the company's 7000 product, but takes the technology a step further by allowing companies to handle smaller packages in an efficient footprint on the DC floor. The 7050 line eliminates requirements like fenced-in robotics, well-trained operators, and multiple end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) solutions, handling a high-speed production line by combining the turning, switching, laning, and transferring on one piece of equipment. Adding more roller density and a finger transfer plate to the company's proven technology, the 7050 allows facilities to sort eaches and small items for applications such as order consolidation or returns processing.
