Tecsys Inc., a Montreal-based supply chain management software company, has released OneSprint, a version of the company's warehouse management system (WMS) scaled to fit the needs of small and midsize businesses or limited departments of larger firms. The solution offers low cost of ownership because it includes a limited feature set compared to full-blown WMS and because users can choose between subscribing to a cloud-based platform or an on-premise installation, Robert Colosino, vice president of business development and marketing, said in a press conference. As companies grow, they can easily add additional features to scale up their capabilities, allowing healthcare firms, 3PLs, and other distribution providers to use the optimal scope of software tools.
